Developing New Women Leaders
The tool design and manufacturing industry is a male-dominated industry. However, with the increase of female high school students taking part in science, technology, engineering, and math studies (STEM Programs) more and more young women are choosing leadership roles. They are making remarkable contributions in technology and engineering, such as tool design and manufacturing. PTM/Modified is involved in the community as an advocate and sponsor to local high school robotics and engineering programs. It also supports the “A Beautiful Me” organization. This organization focuses on the development of entrepreneur and leadership skills for girls in elementary through high school.
Celebrating our PTM Employees
Today, March 8, 2018, PTM Corporation is celebrating International Women’s Day by recognizing the 56 women employed at PTM in this video including its 4 sister owners. These 56 women arrive daily to contribute to so many critical processes that establish quality standards and quality products, assembly, production, stamping, shipping, receiving, program management, human resources, coordinating ISO/TS practices, accounting practices to name a few. Their individual expertise and skill are also significant to the success of PTM Corporation and Modified Technologies.
“We are proud of our female employees and want to express our appreciation for the unmatched work and expertise they provide to our company every day!” DRK/NRH/GR/DR
