PTM Corporation utilizes Infor VISUAL ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software to integrate all facets of our business. Using VISUAL enables the managers at PTM to begin tracking a part in our system as soon as the quote is entered. We track new parts from design, through tool build and tryout, to the initial production run.

The MRP (Material Resource Planning) and scheduling modules allow us to take a proactive approach on our plant floor. Potential bottlenecks in the manufacturing process are identified and corrected before they cause a disruption. This enables us to quickly react to changes in customer demand and provide on-time delivery.

PTM Corporation is capable of both receiving and transmitting data through EDI. Many of our customers utilize this service. We receive inbound documents from our customers such as planning forecasts, material releases, purchase orders and RFQs, and are capable of sending ASNs and invoices through EDI.
