On Saturday, September 29th, Donna Russell-Kuhr, President, CEO, and Co-Owner of PTM Corporation presented the Keynote Address to an enthusiastic group of 200 participants at the 2nd ANNUAL STARTUP SCHOOL event hosted by Blue Water Startups & Entrepreneurs.
The many amusing and inspiring stories that were shared by Donna were filled with hard earned wisdom. A journey that started with founder and father, Charles T. Russell in 1972 and brought us up to current day operations of both PTM Corporation and Modified Technologies. Throughout the keynote, Donna candidly shared real-life lessons and advice with humor and humility.
As the Board of Directors President for the Economic Development Alliance of St. Clair County, Donna also spoke of the importance of supporting entrepreneurs and made the following challenge, “next year I want to be listening to one of you telling your success story from the stage.”
Donna Russell-Kuhr, a longtime promoter of St. Clair County was happy to accept the invitation from Matt Brooks to share her story with the audience, many of who are seeking opportunities to start or grow their businesses.
While Donna has many accomplishments, such including receiving Crain’s Detroit Business Notable Woman in Manufacturing Award for 2018, she regularly gives credit to her team of 300 associates who she says, “make her look good”.
